Job summary

Siemens seeks a software engineer to design, build, and operate scalable distributed services that integrate generative AI into real-world products. You will own projects end-to-end from design to deployment and monitoring, collaborating with engineering, research, product, and infrastructure teams to raise reliability and performance.

The role requires 3+ years of backend experience, proficiency in Python/Go/Java, and strong system design fundamentals, with preferred ML pipeline/AI infra

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building and operating backend systems or distributed services.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java and strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Preferred: experience with ML pipelines or AI infrastructure, cloud-native systems, independent delivery, and mentoring/technical leadership.

Requirements: Requires at least three years of professional software development experience, experience building and operating backend systems or distributed services, proficiency in a language such as Python, Go, or Java, and strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and system design. Preferred qualifications include experience with machine learning pipelines or AI infrastructure, familiarity with cloud-native systems, independent delivery from design to production, and mentoring or technical leadership experience.
