Job summary

Cruxx is a MedTech company delivering real-time software that powers a clinical machine. You will build computer vision and ML pipelines and work closely with hardware to drive the device in lab conditions.

Ideal candidates have strong Python and C++, with hands-on experience in CV/ML or 3D data, and have shipped production systems. Curiosity, rigour, and ability to verify software are required.

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming; experience in C++ for perf-critical work.
• Experience in computer vision, ML, or 3D data (perception/registration/segmentation).
• Shipped production systems, not just notebooks or demos.
• Medical device or regulated software experience is a plus, not required.

Job description

Two openings with a MedTech company whose software sits at the centre of everything: computer vision, machine learning and real-time computation driving a physical machine used in a clinical environment.

The problems are hard and unsolved, the codebase is Python-heavy, and the team is small enough that your work goes into the product the week you write it.

What you will do:

• Build and optimise computer vision and ML pipelines that have to run accurately and fast in live conditions
• Work close to hardware: your code drives, reads and responds to a physical machine
• Own features end to end, from idea to running in the lab
• Write software that can be verified. In this domain, correctness is not optional
• Prototype fast, test hard, and iterate with the mechanical and AI teams around you

Who you are:

• Strong Python; C++ a plus for performance-critical work
• Real experience in computer vision, machine learning or 3D data (perception, registration, segmentation, point clouds or similar)
• You have shipped working systems, not just notebooks and demos
• Comfortable using AI coding tools, and rigorous enough to never trust them blindly
