Job summary

Position Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications and database systems. In this role, you will apply computer science principles to build and enhance software solutions, collaborate with project teams, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, modify, and maintain databases and database management systems.

Create and update logical and physical database structures and documentation.

Write, test, and troubleshoot code to support software and database functionality.

Collaborate with project teams to define requirements, determine project scope, and identify system limitations.

Review business and user requirements to estimate development effort, timelines, and resource needs.

Participate in software development activities including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.

Identify and resolve technical issues through system troubleshooting and debugging.

Assist in delivering high‑quality software solutions that meet business and customer needs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

0-2 years of professional experience in software development, database management, or a related technical role.

Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.

Foundational knowledge of database design and management concepts.

Experience or familiarity with SQL and other software development technologies.

Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to database administration or database development projects.

Familiarity with programming languages such as Visual Basic, Java, C#, Python, or similar technologies.

Understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.

Experience working in a team‑oriented development environment.
