Direct Supply is seeking a Software Engineer to build scalable web, mobile, and server-based applications, with a focus on AI-powered features and secure data exchange. You will design APIs and microservices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and apply AI-assisted tooling to improve development efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of software experience, a CS/CE-related degree, and familiarity with AI models, API design, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/CE or related field.
• 1–3 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications using open-source models or APIs (e.g., Hugging Face, OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Experience designing and consuming APIs, working with databases, and developing apps using modern software practices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft development tools (Visual Studio/VS Code) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Ability to apply Agile development practices, Git, and testing approaches to deliver high‑quality software.

What You'll Do and Impact:

• Build and integrate AI-powered features, including conversational assistants, intelligent automation, and image-based capabilities, to solve customer and business challenges.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of software engineering experience developing, testing, and maintaining applications.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications using open-source models or APIs, such as Hugging Face, OpenAI, or Anthropic.
• Experience designing and consuming APIs, working with databases, and developing applications using modern software engineering practices.
