Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Core Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize applications using C as the primary development language.


• Work within Linux and Windows environments for software development.


• Utilize version control systems such as Git or GitLab.


• Write supporting scripts in Bash, Python, or other relevant languages.


• Develop microservices-based solutions.


• Apply containerization practices with Docker or Podman.


• Support orchestration of applications using Kubernetes.

Preferred Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Helm).


• Building and maintaining automated testing frameworks.


• Creating and managing CI/CD pipelines (with an emphasis on GitLab Runners).


• Familiarity with deployment strategies using Helm.


• Exposure to logging and monitoring stacks such as ELK/EFK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Fluentd).


• Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS services (EC2, S3, EKS).


• Understanding of PKI and certificate authority concepts.


• Use of artifact management tools like Artifactory.


• Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and a minimum of two years of professional development experience.


• In lieu of a degree, four additional years of relevant software engineering experience may be considered.

Certifications

• Active Security+ (or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT II certification), or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.

Security Clearance

• Active TS/SCI or TS with eligibility to upgrade to SCI.
