As a Software Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission. You will play a crucial role as a member of a talented team of engineers who develop, sustain, upgrade, and enhance software and full system solutions using the latest development tools, libraries, and techniques.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Education: Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional developer experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: 20+ years of related experience
- Technical skills: Experience with AWS tools and services, Terraform, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Git/Gitlab, Gitlab runners, CI/CD, and Linux
- Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly
- US citizenship required
Role Requirements
- Implement CI/CD pipelines
- Establish staging clusters
- Deploy and test software
- Create infrastructure through code with tools like Terraform
- Write Helm charts
- Transfer software artifacts between systems
- Create documentation
- Monitor system health and resource usage
