Job summary

Recruiting Associates is assisting a national security technology company with multiple contracts near Fort Meade. Positions range from Jr. to Principal Engineers on critical software programs for the Intelligence Community and DoD.

Ideal candidates will be proficient in Java, C++, JavaScript, Python, and related web technologies, with cloud and big data tool experience. You will collaborate with users, explore open source frameworks, and contribute to secure, reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in languages such as Java, C++, JavaScript, Python, SQL, Ruby, Clojure, Scala, Flex, JSP, HTML, CSS, Spring, Hibernate, C#, .net, JPA, Servlets, JQuery, (RESTful) etc., and the ability to express ideas in pseudocode.
• Cloud components like HDFS, Hadoop, Impala, Map Reduce and others.
• Strong web development and user interface skills are highly desirable because you will need to work with users.
• Should be able work well and constructively with others.
• Should be adventurous and willing to experiment with new open source frameworks, languages and build tools.
