Job summary

Torentify in Los Angeles is seeking a software engineer to develop Python applications and graphical interfaces for configuring, monitoring, testing, and diagnosing hardware, integrated with databases and company systems. You will test, document, and release maintainable software, support production and quality teams, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to build automation and AI-assisted tools.

Job description

Develop Python applications and graphical interfaces for configuring, monitoring, testing, and diagnosing hardware, integrating them with databases and company systems. Test, document, and release maintainable software, support production and quality teams, collaborate across engineering disciplines, and build automation and AI-assisted tools.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required, along with strong Python skills, GUI development experience, hardware or external-system integration, and solid software engineering fundamentals. Candidates should also have database experience, systematic debugging skills, strong communication, and the ability to work independently; experience with production applications, C on Linux, Git, JIRA, cloud platforms, automated testing, or AI tools is preferred.
