Job summary

TeamGlobal in Colorado Springs seeks a Software Development Engineer to plan, design, and coordinate software solutions addressing business and mission problems. You will develop and test software, document, and debug within a structured life cycle, emphasizing Python and hardware/software integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science and typically 3-5 years of work-related experience.
• Python experience.
• Hardware/software integration experience.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities.
• Design software containing logical and mathematical solutions to business and mission problems.
• Develop software in computer languages for solutions using data processing equipment.
• Apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
• Utilize knowledge of computer hardware and software subject matter to develop business and mission applications.
• Analyze information processing techniques and information gathered from system users to develop software.
• Correct program errors and prepare operating instructions.
• Compile documentation of program development.
• Resolve questions concerning program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
