Software Engineer

Summary

Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Application Development Team, leading software design, implementation, and problem-solving, ensuring consistency across teams in quality standards while adhering to microservice architecture principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist architects in creating reference architecture patterns for various applications and data workloads.
• Develop standards and company-wide best practices for engineering complex technology solutions.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects (.NET/C#/Rest/Azure).
• Conduct code reviews for .NET projects to ensure the highest code quality and appropriate design patterns.
• Transform software designs into high-functioning code.
• Participate in testing, training, and documentation efforts.
  
  

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3-5 years of extensive experience using Agile methodologies.
• Strong background with modern technology stacks, microservices, and Cloud architectures (preferably Azure).
• Well-versed in software design patterns, coding best practices, and unit-testable code.
• Knowledge of databases, SQL/NoSQL architectures.
• Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, JavaScript (Angular/React).
  
  

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of mobile application development (iOS, Android).
• Familiarity with collaborating with developers from different regions.
  
  

This is a 6-Month Contract-for-Hire opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client. 100% Paid employee Medical/Dental Benefits, Paid time off, Paid Holidays, and 401(k) (with immediately-vested company match) available with TriCom during the contract period.
