Job summary

ITAC Solutions in Huntsville, Alabama seeks a hands-on software engineer to develop and test software for embedded systems and defense electronics.

You will analyze legacy software, firmware, and hardware interfaces for reverse-engineering efforts, collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and systems teams, and develop tools for manufacturing, diagnostics, and validation. Relocation assistance is available to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Embedded or rugged-electronics software development background.
• C/C++, Python or similar programming expertise.
• Hardware/software interfaces, device drivers, or real-time embedded experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.
• Military/aerospace systems experience is highly valued.

Compensation

• $85,000–$150,000 annually, Depending on experience
