Job summary

Ennoble First Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking a software engineer to plan, develop, document, test, and debug software that supports business/mission objectives. You will work with software leads, systems engineers, and project leads to troubleshoot and develop solutions, ensuring adherence to software standards.

The role requires DoD 8570–compliant security credentials (Security+, CISSP, SSCP, etc.) and a TS/SCI CI Poly clearance. Day shift, full-time on-site employment in Herndon, VA.

Qualifications

• Familiar with one or more object oriented languages (C#, Java, C++).
• DoD 8570 compliant security certification (Security+, CISSP, SSCP, etc.) is required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities; designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software for business/mission problems; applies hardware/software knowledge to review and analyze software.
• Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, and documents program development; analyzes system capabilities to resolve input/output, programming techniques, and controls; works with leads and engineers to troubleshoot and develop solutions.

Relocation Assistance: Yes Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities; Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems; Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter programmed in business/mission applications and information gathered from system users to review and analyze software; Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls; Ensures software standards are met; Candidate will be responsible for working with the Software Lead and other Software Engineers, Systems Engineers and Project Leads to troubleshoot, design and develop solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Familiar with one or more of the following object oriented software languages:
  • C#, Java, C++
• Must have a customer approved security certification:
  • DoD 8570 compliant: Security +, CISSP, SSCP, etc.
