The Hartford is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join your HIMCO IT Middle Office team. You will build systems enabling Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Analysts to make informed investment decisions, with a focus on reliability and agility.

You’ll work on interactive web apps, batch processing, vendor integrations, and AI-assisted tooling, applying .NET/C#, SQL, HTML/CSS, Python, and AWS in an Agile environment. The role offers a hybrid schedule with three in-office days.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience developing systems with .NET, C#, and relational databases.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the investment industry and related business processes.
  • Participate in project planning, clarify requirements, and engage with clients and analysts.
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications following disciplined software development practices.
  • Implement quality assurance principles and ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for applications.

Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:$88,000 - $132,000
