Tekton, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Software Engineer to rapidly and effectively solve problems, write, review, and deploy code daily—primarily TypeScript.

You will architect, build, and maintain resilient software to meet Tekton’s needs with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. You will work across the software life cycle, contribute to Tekton.com and internal systems like ERP, WMS, and PIM, collaborate across departments, troubleshoot bugs, and develop automated tests to

Job description

As a Software Engineer, you are a rapid and effective problem solver. You write, review, and deploy code daily—usually TypeScript. You architect, build, and maintain resilient and scalable software solutions to meet Tekton’s various software needs. You will work with urgency to fix system errors with other software engineers and colleagues when they occur. Your work will have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.

Pay range

• $70,000 - $130,000 per year

Location and hours

• This is a full-time salaried position located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. There may be times when you will be expected to fix issues during non-standard working hours.

The Software team works closely with all areas of the company to create custom system solutions for daily business operations and to ensure Tekton.com delivers a world-class website experience to users. The Information Technology team maintains our internet services, manages technology security, and ensures we have the hardware needed to operate; they are the frontline of support whenever any IT equipment or service isn't working like it should.
