City of Glendale, AZ is seeking a Software Engineer to analyze customer needs and design, develop, test, install, and integrate software systems. Responsibilities include configuring applications, recommending upgrades, and troubleshooting issues to ensure reliable operations.

The Software Engineer is responsible for analyzing the needs of our customers and designs, develops, tests, installs, and integrates software systems to meet business needs.
Job duties consist of configuring and customizing both on-premise and SaaS applications. Recommending software upgrades to existing systems and presenting newly available options that may better meet the needs of the City. Responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of systems and troubleshooting any issues that surface.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related field and three years of experience in development, design, implementation, and application support including three years of software development experience in .NET Framework and other programming languages.
Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education.
