Job summary

Hyve Solutions in Fremont, CA, is seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on engineer to design and implement manufacturing test automation using Python, REST APIs, Docker and microservices. You will work with Network Engineering, DevOps and Test Engineering to support the automation testing in a fast-paced hardware production environment.

The ideal candidate has a BS/MS in CS/EE and 5+ years building test automation for data center networking hardware, plus strong communication and leadership skills

Qualifications

• BS/MS+ in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years hands-on experience architecting and implementing manufacturing test automation solutions.
• Proficient in Python.
• Understanding on how microservices (such as API creation) work is a plus.
• Experience with Automation on Networking devices.
• Understanding of hardware development and manufacturing process of data center products.
• Strong background in Network Test Automation knowledge.
• Demonstrated small/large team leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem-solving, good time management and task prioritizing skills.
