Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Software Engineer in Falls Church, VA to design, develop, and integrate software solutions that support enterprise IT initiatives and client missions. Ideal candidates have a BS/BA, 5–10 years of related software engineering experience, and an active Secret clearance; the position offers a hybrid work arrangement in Falls Church, VA.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, enhances, and maintains software applications in support of enterprise or government IT initiatives.
• Executes complex tasks, troubleshoots production issues, and contributes to system integration and modernization efforts.
• Designs, develops, and tests solutions that automate processes for kitting solution and troubleshooting issues, activities, and tasks.
• Works closely with technical solutions engineers and professional services teams.
• Participates in requirement gathering and technical requirement definition by attending client meetings, interviews, and workshops.
• Works with the Survey, Design and other teams introducing solutions and services, customizing solutions for clients’ business and IT requirements.
