• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of backend development in languages such as Java, Node.js, Python, or Go.

• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar).

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will contribute to the design and development of scalable, secure, and user-centric applications that power Versant’s next-generation platforms. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver full-stack solutions that solve real business problems.
• Implement scalable, fault-tolerant microservices and modern front-end applications.
• Use SaaS and low-code/no-code platforms where appropriate to accelerate delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Write secure, performant, and maintainable code.
• Work closely with product and architecture teams to ensure alignment in technical direction and business priorities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of backend development in languages such as Java, Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Develop scalable and high performing microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar).
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues in distributed environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to GenAI tools, SaaS platforms, and low-code/no-code tools.
• Familiarity with serverless technologies and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity withinfrastructure-as-codetooling (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Working knowledge ofmonitoring stackslikeDatadog,Prometheus, orELK.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems or integrating with enterprise platforms.
• Awareness of DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code.
• Background in media, entertainment business domain is a plus.
