What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and design software solutions to meet customer requirements focusing on performance and availability
- Collaborate with engineering product managers to translate requirements into detailed designs
- Enhance code quality through reviews and writing various tests (unit, integration, acceptance)
- Optimize and maintain code to improve performance and efficiency
- Mentor and coach other software engineers while participating in design and code reviews
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in developing and implementing commercial software
- 3+ years of experience in object-oriented programming (e.g., C#, .NET)
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MS SQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with unit, integration, and acceptance testing methodologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in system integration or global projects
- Background in transportation, logistics, or business systems
- Proven success in delivering software in an agile environment
- Experience with cloud-native applications (e.g., Azure, AWS)
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
