Job Summary

We are hiring a Software Engineer to join our on-site team in Sinton, Texas. This is an opportunity for a practical, curious developer who wants to do more than close tickets. You will help maintain and improve the applications that support a large-scale manufacturing operation, work directly with internal users, and grow into end-to-end ownership of meaningful development projects.

From day one, you will be trusted to investigate issues, understand existing code, solve application and data problems, and make thoughtful improvements that matter to the business. As you learn our environment, you will take projects from requirements gathering through design, implementation, documentation, and support.

Duties

• Develop, customize, troubleshoot, and maintain production applications, with a heavy focus on .NET Framework and SQL Server.
• Investigate application defects, performance issues, and data problems, then deliver durable fixes rather than temporary workarounds.
• Design and maintain T-SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and triggers with performance and reliability in mind.
• Build and support integrations using REST APIs and webhooks.
• Partner with internal end users to understand business requirements and turn them into practical technical solutions.
• Own assigned work items through GitHub and collaborate closely with a talented development team.
• Contribute to an evolving technology environment that includes legacy applications, PowerBuilder, and growing Python/Ignition exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree preferred.
• 3+ years of current, hands-on software-development experience in a production environment.
• Strong experience maintaining and enhancing .NET Framework applications.
• Demonstrated T-SQL and SQL Server experience, including work with queries, views, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Experience building, consuming, or troubleshooting REST APIs and webhooks.
• The ability to step into an unfamiliar repository, understand the code, and work independently through a problem.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in partnering with end users, not just working behind the scenes.
