Job summary

Abacus is seeking a Software Engineer for a full-time role that can be hybrid or remote. You will contribute to building and maintaining software across languages, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot issues to deliver reliable applications.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS or a related field, solid fundamentals in data structures and algorithms, and are eager to learn the Go Abacus code stack while delivering clean, well-structured code and rapid iteration.

Full-Time, Hybrid or RemoteThis is a full-time hybrid or remote role for a Software Engineer.

• Requirements:- Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent project experience
• Familiarity with Python, C++, C#, and JavaScript, with proficiency in one or more of these programming languages
• Ability to write clean and well-structured code and receive feedback during code reviews
• Skilled in technical troubleshooting, including de-bugging, reading logs and error messages, and developing revised code
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle methodology (SDLC) and basic software concepts
• Strong grasp of core computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms and programming principles
• Action-oriented with strong judgement and follow-through
• Detail-oriented, problem-solver and quick learner, with desire to learn the Go Abacus code stack
