Job summary

Hunter Communications seeks a skilled Salesforce developer to manage and enhance our Salesforce environment, working with Apex and collaborating with Installation/Maintenance teams. You will contribute to greenfield projects, architect and build Airflow ETL integrations for specialized backend systems, and leverage GIS where possible.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Salesforce development, plus experience with Python, ETL tooling, and APIs.

Qualifications

• Capable problem-solvers who can learn quickly, adapt, and get things done.
• Experience with Salesforce development and Apex code.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and coding agents.
• Production code experience with Python and ETL tools.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and JOINs.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and GIS is a plus.

What You’ll Be Working On

In this role, you’ll primarily help manage and enhance our Salesforce environment as part of a small, collaborative team. You’ll work extensively with Apex development while partnering closely with our Installation and Maintenance teams to support successful system rollouts.

You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to greenfield projects, including architecting and building Airflow (Python) ETL integrations for specialized backend systems. Experience with GIS is a strong plus.

• ISP / Networking / GIS
  - Able to reason through basic networking issues: DNS, routing, ports, firewalls, HTTP, and the OSI model
