The person in this role will have the chance to influence architecture, solve complex technical problems, and help move ideas from concept through validation and deployment in a highly hands on setting. The environment is best suited for an engineer who enjoys ownership, cross functional collaboration, and meaningful work tied to national security and next generation unmanned systems.

This Role Offers
  • Competitive base compensation with flexibility for exceptional talent

  • Work across software, hardware, test, and manufacturing groups to move products from concept into field use
  • Support simulation, bench validation, and live system testing to improve reliability and readiness
  • Investigate software issues observed in operational environments and implement durable fixes
  • Help define application behavior for autonomy, mission execution, and subsystem integration
  • Contribute ideas that improve engineering workflows, product capability, and development speed
Skill Set
  • 3 plus years of experience developing software in C plus plus and or Python
  • Background in robotics, autonomous systems, aerospace, defense, automotive, or other high reliability environments
  • Strong fundamentals in algorithms, concurrency, software design, debugging, and optimization
  • Experience integrating software into larger systems that include hardware, messaging layers, or sensor inputs
  • Ability to solve problems independently and work effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Comfort working onsite with a deeply collaborative engineering team
  • Helpful experience includes MAVLink, PX4, ArduPilot, Docker, geospatial tooling, offline first systems, or multi agent autonomy
  • Experience supporting deployed systems and working through field issues is strongly valued
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field preferred
