POSITION: Software DevOps Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY:

The ideal candidate will have experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle. They should be eager to learn and innovate in a fast-paced environment to improve our robotic platform's build and deployment processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for code builds, testing, and deployments.
2. Automate engineering processes, server management, and application deployment to streamline workflows.
3. Lead containerization efforts using Docker and similar technologies.
4. Establish best practices for deploying containerized applications, including Dockerfiles, images, and orchestration with Kubernetes.
5. Implement security best practices, including vulnerability scanning, patch management, and compliance.
6. Provide technical leadership to improve software development processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
2. 3+ years of DevOps experience.
3. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket CI, GitLab CI, or similar.
4. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
5. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Strong Linux background, shell scripting, and Git knowledge.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

1. Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools.
2. Experience with frontend UI testing.
3. Passion for learning new tools, technologies, and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.
