Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of QA, BA, or Implementation support experience in Oracle EBS environments.
• Strong SQL/PL-SQL reading, writing, and debugging skills.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting rules, supply chain end-to-end flows, and O2C/P2P cycles.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Workflow Builder, BI/XML Publisher, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail for communicating complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts from BRDs and functional specs.
• Perform functional and backend testing across Oracle EBS modules (Financials, SCM, etc.).
• Write complex SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts to validate data migrations and interfaces.
• Validate RICEW components to ensure mappings meet business needs.
• Test integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party systems using APIs and SOA.
• Log, track, and retest bugs using JIRA, HP ALM, or Bugzilla with offshore/onshore teams.
• Maintain traceability matrices and update technical/functional documentation (MD050, TE040, AIM).

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Execution: Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications and Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).

Module Validation: Perform functional and backend testing across core Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Financials: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM; SCM: PO, OM, INV, WIP, BOM).

Backend & Database Testing: Write complex SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts to validate data migrations, verify interface logic, and troubleshoot backend tables.

RICEW Testing: Validate Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows (RICEW), ensuring custom components map accurately to business needs.

Integration & API Validation: Test integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party systems using Web Services, APIs, and SOA architectures.

Defect Management: Log, track, and retest bugs using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Bugzilla, collaborating with offshore/onshore technical teams for quick resolution.

Documentation: Maintain traceability matrices and update technical/functional documentation (e.g., MD050, TE040, AIM methodology).

Essential Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

Experience: 3+ years of dedicated experience in QA, Business Analysis, or Implementation support within Oracle EBS environments.

SQL & PL/SQL: High proficiency in reading, writing, and debugging SQL queries and PL/SQL packages.

Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial accounting rules, supply chain end-to-end flows, and order-to-cash (O2C) or procure-to-pay (P2P) cycles.

Tools: Hands‑on experience with Oracle Workflow Builder, BI/XML Publisher, and automated testing frameworks.
