Job summary

ZT Systems is seeking an early-career Software Technical Program Manager to lead strategic software initiatives across our global production teams. You will coordinate software development efforts, drive process improvements, and report progress to stakeholders in a high-visibility role.

The role requires a Bachelors in CS/CE/IT with 2+ years in software or production, strong Jira experience, and solid PM skills. Competitive benefits and base salary in the US market.

• 2+ years of experience in software development/engineering or production environment (Masters + 0+ years acceptable).
• Hands-on Jira experience strongly desired.
• Strong cross-functional team management and interpersonal skills.
• Project management with schedules and milestones; PMP preferred but not required.

About the Role

Are you an early career Software Technical Program Manager looking to work on the bleeding edge of AI hardware technology? The successful candidate will lead strategic programs and initiatives that will deliver innovative software and process improvements to our worldwide production facilities. They will work closely with our customers, product operations, and global production teams on the deliverables. This is a high visibility role in the company and will be expected to work across organizations to achieve results. What You Will Do

Join a fast-growing team of software and PM professionals and be a technical PM who will coordinate the efforts of the software development team. You will focus on key strategic initiatives including process improvement programs that deliver results. Manage and track programs across the organization including software development, software deliverables, process improvements, etc. Attend weekly program core team meetings with cross-functional teams to communicate updates, track progress, and ensure that the program is on track to meet upcoming milestones Identify and communicate program risks to stakeholders, define risk mitigation strategies, and facilitate appropriate hardware & software engineering solutions Maintain documentation and disseminate project information to stakeholders Communicate risks and relevant mitigation plans Attend regular production status meetings to provide the status of programs and record assigned actions

What you Bring

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, and 2+ years of experience in a software development, engineering or production environment (or a Masters and 0+ years of experience). Software development experience is strongly desired Hands‑on experience with Jira is strongly desired Strong cross‑functional team management, strong interpersonal skills, and adaptive communication style Good Project Management skills in developing schedules and tracking milestones, PMP certification preferred but not required Effective communication to drive the program and provide clear updates ZT Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package is created for all our employees. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be between $75,750 - $110,000. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
