Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Seattle is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead a team focused on data analysis and performance optimization across DynamoDB’s core systems. You will define roadmaps and own self-service capabilities for performance analysis, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver latency data insights.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and scale operations while ensuring delivery of robust performance analysis tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years building large-scale distributed systems.
• 1+ years leading engineering teams.
• 1+ years guiding full SDLC lifecycle.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/Math.
• Knowledge of SDLC practices and patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team focused on data analysis and performance optimization.
• Define team charter, vision, and roadmaps for self-service performance analysis tools.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver latency data analysis and attribution solutions.
• Drive architectural decisions and strategy for performance qualification tools.
• Scale team operations while owning end-to-end software systems.
