Job ID: 10594444 | Amazon Data Services, Inc.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

The AWS Data Center Systems organization is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead a team that owns critical software services that help improve the resiliency, security, and cost efficiency of data centers. As an engineering leader, you will have end-to-end responsibility, from building a highly performing team, helping define requirements, to delivering features directly contribute to the high availability of AWS data centers, and Amazon’s sustainability goals.

The ideal candidate has experience driving change across diverse objectives, without compromising service integrity. You have the ability to own the development lifecycle as well as the continuous testing and deployment of software systems. You draw from a breadth of expertise to both mentor engineers and complete your own hands‑on technical work. You provide leadership on complex issues by building trust out of good data.
