Job description

Fast-paced, high-growth marketing company serving the automotive digital marketing industry seeks hard working Software Development Manager.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead our software development teams. The ideal candidate will be proficient in .NET technology, Microsoft SQL, Cloud Databases and computing, and Jira for project management. Ideal candidate is analytical, results-oriented, self-driven, confident and will play a key role in shaping the direction of our software development projects, ensuring high-quality code, and driving the successful delivery of leading-edge Automotive Marketing solutions.

This is a full-time, salaried, remote position. Eastern or central time zones highly preferred. NOTE: there are multiple location posts for this one position. Please apply only once to the city/market area that you most closely reside.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of software developers, providing guidance, setting objectives, and ensuring they meet their goals.
• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Technical Expertise: Bring extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in .NET technology, SQL, and Cloud computing to drive technical excellence within the team.
• Architecture and Design: Collaborate with the development team to design scalable, maintainable, and efficient software solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment processes.
• Cloud Integration: Utilize cloud technologies to enhance system scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Jira Management: Utilize Jira for project tracking, issue management, and agile development methodologies.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including product managers, to understand project requirements and provide status updates.
• Budget and Resource Management: Manage the development budget, allocate resources effectively, and make informed decisions to optimize project outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or relevant experience
• Proven experience (minimum 7 years) in software development, with a strong focus on .NET technology and Microsoft SQL Server
• Extensive experience with Cloud technologies (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS)
• Experience with NoSQL /Document store databases
• Proficiency in using Jira for project management
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Scrum Master certification is a plus
