Spectrum is seeking a Software Development Lead to guide cloud-native development and software modernization within our Consulting & Professional Services team. • Hands-on expertise with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Go, Java, C#).
• Experience transforming legacy applications (Java, .NET, etc.) into cloud-native microservices.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices design patterns.
• Strong client-facing communication skills, with experience delivering technical presentations and engaging with business/technical stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of Agile development methodologies and best practices.

We are seeking a Software Development Lead to play a pivotal role in our Consulting & Professional Services team, focused on cloud-native development and software modernization. This position is extremely hands-on, providing technical oversight over delivery teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about emerging practices such as AI-assisted coding and eager to integrate these tools into modern development workflows. You'll engage directly with clients, translating complex technical requirements into actionable specifications and designs, while also rolling up your sleeves to write code and accelerate delivery.

What You Bring

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years working as a technical lead or architect in cloud-native or modernization initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Kiro OpenCode, or equivalent).

• Experience working with global or distributed engineering teams.
