Job summary

IBM Consulting FutureNow Center Internship in Baton Rouge region offers hands-on software development and consulting experience. You’ll learn from seasoned professionals, contribute to real client projects, and gain exposure to AI, cloud technologies, DevOps, Agile, and enterprise app development.

Open to students pursuing CS/Software Eng/IS/CE with a growth mindset. The program runs May–July 2027 (10 weeks) and may lead to full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Interest in software development, cloud, AI, or digital transformation.
• Basic programming concepts and at least one language such as Java, Python, JS, C#, C++, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate Across Teams: work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and contribute to project delivery.
• Design & Document Solutions: create technical specifications and document design decisions.
• Build High-Quality Software: develop scalable, reusable code and participate in code reviews.
• Develop Modern Applications: contribute to cloud-native and full-stack apps with a focus on UX, performance, security, and quality.
