Job summary

Galent is seeking a skilled SDET to design, develop, and execute automated and manual testing solutions. The ideal candidate will be adept at functional, automation, and data validation across web and mobile apps in an Agile environment.

You will create test plans, develop automated scripts, execute tests, and collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure reliable software releases. Strong SQL skills and experience with Selenium are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering preferred.
• ISTQB or related QA certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute exploratory, functional, regression, and automated test cases to ensure product quality.
• Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test data based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform testing of web and mobile applications, including functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Design and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Python, Coded UI, or similar frameworks.
• Validate application data and perform database testing to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Execute SQL queries to verify backend data and support data conversion testing.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and report quality concerns to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams during releases and monitoring activities.
• Support off-hours deployments and system monitoring when required.
• Maintain QA documentation, test environments, and test data.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing through Confluence and team collaboration.

We are seeking a skilled SDET to design, develop, and execute automated and manual testing solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in functional testing, automation frameworks, database validation, defect management, and Agile development environments.

The role involves working closely with development and project teams to identify issues, improve product quality, and support successful software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute exploratory, functional, regression, and automated test cases to ensure product quality.
• Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test data based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform testing of web and mobile applications, including:
• Functional testing
• System testing
• Integration testing
• Regression testing
• End-to-end testing
• Design and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Python, Coded UI, or similar frameworks.
• Validate application data and perform database testing to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Execute SQL queries to verify backend data and support data conversion testing.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Hands-on experience developing automated test scripts using:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Relevant QA/testing certifications (such as ISTQB) are a plus.
• Experience in software quality assurance and automation testing preferred.
