Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IT/engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute exploratory, functional, regression, and automated test cases.
• Create detailed test plans, scenarios, and data based on requirements.
• Test web and mobile applications across functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end levels.
• Develop automated test scripts using Python, Selenium, and other frameworks.
• Validate data with SQL queries and perform database testing.
• Identify, document, and retest defects using defect management tools.

We are seeking a skilled SDET to design, develop, and execute automated and manual testing solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in functional testing, automation frameworks, database validation, defect management, and Agile development environments.

The role involves working closely with development and project teams to identify issues, improve product quality, and support successful software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute exploratory, functional, regression, and automated test cases to ensure product quality.
• Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test data based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform testing of web and mobile applications, including:
• Functional testing
• System testing
• Integration testing
• Regression testing
• End-to-end testing
• Design and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Python, Coded UI, or similar frameworks.
• Validate application data and perform database testing to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Execute SQL queries to verify backend data and support data conversion testing.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
• Analyze test results, identify inconsistencies, and report quality issues to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams during releases and production monitoring activities.
• Support off-hours deployments, launch activities, and system monitoring when required.
• Maintain QA documentation, test environments, and test data.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing through documentation and team collaboration tools such as Confluence.
