Workday, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional in Reston, Virginia to fill a security role that requires a TS/SCI w/CI Poly security clearance. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and will work collaboratively with Product Managers and QA Engineers to design and develop high-quality software.
The successful applicant will have at least 5 years of experience with UML, web application development, and proficiency in object-oriented programming languages like Java, Python, or C#. A Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field is essential, and additional benefits like bonuses and stock grants are offered.
This role requires a security clearance at the TS/SCI w/CI Poly level. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance. An active TS/SCI w/CI Poly is preferred. The role may require on‑site presence at client locations in the DC, MD, and VA (DMV) area.
Collaborate with Product Managers and QA Engineers on functional design and analysis of requirements, design and develop a product in a metadata‑driven development environment, build and maintain robust, efficient and maintainable code using an object‑oriented framework and class modeling, solve customer‑reported issues, and mentor and learn from other team members through pair programming, code reviews, hackathons, etc.
Base Pay Range (Primary Location: Reston, VA): $137,000 USD – $205,400 USD. Additional U.S. Locations: $123,900 USD – $222,000 USD. The role may be eligible for a bonus plan or role‑specific commission/bonus and annual refresh stock grants as part of the total compensation package.
