Job summary

Jobtailor in Brooklyn is seeking a data/test data management engineer to mine, extract and validate test data across environments. You will build automated solutions to streamline data setup and collaborate with testers, developers and stakeholders to meet data needs.

The role requires strong SQL, experience with API testing, and a degree in CS or related field (or equivalent). Office presence in Brooklyn with cross‑functional teamwork expected.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar solutions.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience (required).

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development, test automation, and test data management
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting
• Experience working with databases such as Oracle, DB2, Postgres, Big Query, SQL Server, etc.
• Hands‑on experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar solutions
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience (required)
