Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design and build features for Amazon Advertising, solving challenging problems across the advertising ecosystem. You will work with partners to deliver scalable software solutions that move the needle for innovation.

The role requires hands-on development with multiple languages and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ship high-quality software and services used by advertisers and customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for systems.
• 1+ years of software engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered software applications using languages like C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

• Designs and independently implements key features solving difficult software problems for our partners, potentially spanning multiple areas of Amazon's advertising ecosystem.
• Solves complex technical problems with simple solutions wherever possible.
• Demonstrates knowledge and use of coding and testing best practices.
• Influences the team's technical direction and maintains a high quality bar, impacting software quality and user experience.
• Effectively communicates technical and non-technical ideas to diverse audiences.
• Collaborates with peers and mentors to receive guidance, and mentors others as required.
• Cultivates relationships with partner teams.

Basic Qualifications

• - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• - 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• - 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• - 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• - Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
