A Software Development Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, installing, and maintaining systems, applications, networks, and related processes to meet business objectives.

The role involves assessing system, application, and network needs, providing modeling and simulation consulting to clarify client technology functionality, and evaluating and implementing new advanced technologies.

Required expertise includes:

• Java 17 or greater
• Spring Boot
• RESTful services
• OpenShift
• NoSQL databases

Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, and security tools like Fortify and Sonatype is necessary.

The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and understand and implement TDD (Test-Driven Development) for software development.
