The Retail Engineering Apple Online Store (AOS) Quality team seeks a motivated and talented engineer. Success requires strong programming skills, thorough application testing, building test automation tools, and improving team velocity through automation. We need a highly technical engineer who can research and apply the latest testing technologies, independently and collaboratively resolve issues, and influence team best practices. Engage deeply with engineering teams throughout all development phases.

Minimum Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • QA Automation & Testing experience on Web applications, with a proven track record of bug detection and reporting
  • Experience testing APIs/Web Services and Web applications; hands-on with Core Java, Karate, RestAssured, Playwright/Selenium, Appium/XCUI
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS
  • Solid understanding of build tools, CI/CD, deployment, and code quality tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of QA Automation & Testing experience on Web applications, with a strong record of bug detection and reporting
  • Experience supporting eCommerce platforms or Retail/Payment systems
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles, Agile, and D2P processes
  • Experience testing AI/ML applications, security, and accessibility
  • Experience developing testing frameworks from scratch using industry best practices
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving ability, both autonomous and collaborative
  • Understanding of NoSQL databases like Couchbase, MongoDB, and caching strategies
  • Experience with Maven/Gradle and Git
  • Experience building and maintaining test environments and data-driven test suites
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Ability to clearly present complex technical issues
