State Street is seeking a senior SDET to own test automation across frontend, backend, and API layers within Wealth Technology. This hands-on role embeds in delivery teams to build robust automated testing solutions and ensure regulatory-grade quality across wealth custody, clearing, and servicing workflows.
You will partner with developers and product teams, design data strategies, and drive quality throughout the SDLC in a production-critical environment.
State Street's Wealth Custody & Clearing (WC&C) business delivers institutional grade custody, clearing, and platform services to wealth managers, broker dealers, and financial institutions. As WC&C modernizes and scales its digital platforms, quality engineering and automated testing are critical to ensuring platform reliability, data integrity, and regulatory grade controls. We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to serve as a hands-on quality engineering contributor, embedded within Wealth Technology delivery teams and accountable for building robust automated testing solutions across frontend, backend, and integration layers.
This role is a senior individual contributor position focused on test automation, quality engineering, and software validation in a regulated, production-critical environment. You will design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks, partner closely with developers and product teams, and act as a quality advocate throughout the software development lifecycle. This position emphasizes engineering-driven testing, not manual execution, or people management.
$90,000 - $157,500 Annual
