Job summary

Valsoft Corporation is seeking an SDET to build a comprehensive automated testing suite using Cypress and to automate the QA regression workflow. You will collaborate with a small team including developers and a product manager to define coverage from requirements before coding begins.

You will leverage AI tools to accelerate test creation and triage, keep CI runs fast and stable, and report on coverage and quality.

Qualifications

• Intermediate-level experience as an SDET or in a similar test automation role.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test suites in Cypress (or Playwright/Selenium with the ability to move to Cypress).
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript; C# an asset.
• Practical experience using AI tools in a development or testing workflow.
• Experience with unit and integration test frameworks such as Jest, xUnit, or similar.
• Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and orchestration tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Criminal background check required.
