Job summary

Job Juncture in Reston, VA is seeking a mid‑level Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to build and mature our testing infrastructure for production software. You will develop robust test harnesses, mocking infrastructure, and automate testing strategies across Java, Rust, and TypeScript-based apps.

You will integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and work with researchers and engineers to improve quality and reliability in a growing codebase. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, applied math, or related field.
• At least 3 years of industry experience.
• Experience building test infrastructure including mocking and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in software testing and test harness development.
• Experience designing automated and manual testing software in Java, Rust or TypeScript/React.
• Ability to work with researchers, engineers, and end users to translate concepts into usable software.
• Familiarity with full‑stack web app development in any frameworks/languages.
• U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
• Experience using ADO, Gitlab or similar CI/CD tools.
