Key job responsibilities
1.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (developers, network experts, scientists, leaders) to translate the business requirements into technical specifications.
2. Design, test, and develop scalable software systems that leverage Generative AI techniques to enhance network performance and reliability.
3. Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to stay ahead of the curve in the field of Generative AI.
4. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a culture of excellence in software engineering practices.
5. Proactively identify and address technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolution to ensure smooth operation of Generative AI software solutions.
6. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to convey project status, solicit feedback, and drive towards the objectives.
8. Own the operational excellence of the software that we develop.
9. Contribute to improving our documentation, processes, and tools so that we improve our performance as a team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
