Software Development Engineer II, AWS QuickSight

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to continuously released new product innovations that set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers requiring specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Amazon QuickSight powers data-driven organizations with unified business intelligence (BI) at hyperscale. It enables users to meet various analytic needs through modern interactive dashboards, pixel-perfect reports, embedded analytics, and natural language queries.

We are looking for a full-stack engineer with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for delivering creative solutions for complex problems at an unprecedented scale. In this role, you will build experiences, services, and tools for Amazon QuickSight. The position offers wide scope, autonomy, and ownership. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems
• 3+ years of supporting title development, release, or live operations in the Video Games Industry
• Experience programming with at least one software language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
