Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the Air Optimization Technology team supporting Amazon Air in Bellevue, WA. The role emphasizes leadership, rapid iteration, and balancing technical decisions with business impact.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of non-internship software development experience and strong design/architecture skills, with proficiency in Java, C++, or C#.

The Air Optimization Technology team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to be part of a team of developers supporting Amazon Air.

The ideal candidate should be a leader and quick learner. Candidate should be able to operate in a very fast paced environment where time to hit market is super critical. The candidate will need to balance technical leadership and savvy with strong business judgment to make the right decisions about technology choices.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices
• Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
