Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle, WA is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the Agentic Commerce Buy For Me program. Build the new-age of e-commerce by creating robust backend services and integrating external protocols.

You will own end-to-end features, participate in architecture decisions, and scale services for hundreds of millions of customers, with a focus on distributed systems and API design.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience on large systems.
• 1+ years as a software engineer or related role.
• 1+ years of designing/developing large-scale distributed software.
• 1+ years of OO design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience programming in at least one common language.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to design and bring innovative products to market.
• Design and build technologies in a large distributed computing environment and lead changes in the industry.
• Deliver customer value iteratively while pursuing longer-term system goals.
• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable and fault-tolerant.
• Design and code right solutions starting from broadly defined problems.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
