As the key technical stakeholder, you'll collaborate closely with Product Managers and end-users to define the vision for these game-changing tools. Key job responsibilities
- Influence product strategy through feature definition and system architecture design.
- Lead and establish engineering best practices for quality assurance.
- Set strong technical foundations for future product phases.
- Design and implement reliable, scalable, and high-performance distributed systems.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business and technical partners.
- Address and resolve complex system software challenges.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach to software development.

A day in the life
The majority of an average day is centered around designing and building features to enhance existing applications. Additional daily activities include:

- Working on ad-hoc requests and bug fixes
- Participating in documentation reviews with product managers and stakeholders
- Supporting and delegating tickets while on-call
- Attending team meetings and presentations/learning sessions·

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
