Job summary

Amazon in Washington (Redmond) is hiring experienced software engineers to design, build, and operate e-Commerce software on AWS infrastructure. You will contribute to scalable, multi-tiered systems and implement CI/CD pipelines, tests, and monitoring dashboards across teams.

The role requires hands-on coding in C#/C++/Java/Perl, strong object-oriented design, and experience with large-scale distributed applications. A BS degree in CS/engineering or related fields is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
• 1+ years of SOE or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate critical e-Commerce software for Leo.
• Build e-Commerce functions on AWS infrastructure and implement best practices for software development.
• Develop code, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards for monitoring health of systems.
• Help engineers and build solutions required for provisioning and operating an Internet service provider.
