Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Arlington, VA is seeking Software Development Engineers for a centralized talent pipeline across AWS SDE roles. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining efficient code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to scalable systems.

You will work with modern cloud services and ML/AI initiatives, participate in architecture reviews, and mentor junior engineers as part of a strong engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture (patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• 3+ years of building complex software systems.
• 2+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Implement complex software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
