APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Design, implement, test, and deploy software for Apple Media Products - Commerce team to provide smooth purchase experience to Apple’s Apps & Music Store customers. Apply JAVA programming and Database modeling skills, using modern IDE developer tools (IntelliJ) and Agile process management techniques. Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs related to back-end processing of commerce transactions (subscriptions, billings, invoicing, tax & royalty payouts). Conduct coding for commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS or desktop applications products. Use current programming language and technologies, write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using in-house test suites designed for testing and debugging commerce back-end processing applications. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance in order to provide flawless processing of commerce transactions. Interact with users to define system requirements and necessary modifications to enhance the user experience and improve efficiency of commerce processing pipelines by eliminating failure causes and reducing response latency. Work on adding new integrations, scaling current data flows, and re-imagining existing processes to accommodate developing features and architectures to enhance the commerce application stack. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 - $204,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.PAY & BENEFITS: Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
