Job summary

Amazon Leo is building a cloud-first software system to connect Kuiper’s satellite network to the world. As an SDE you will join the core technical team responsible for ground-based traffic processing pipelines and for architecting software from the ground up.

You will develop code, design scalable services on AWS, mentor teammates, and help deliver reliable connectivity with strong emphasis on quality, security and operability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. In this role as a SDE, you will be part of the core technical team building the ground based traffic processing pipelines for connecting Kuiper’s satellite network to the external world. This opportunity will afford you an exciting SDE role in Amazon Leo that would enable you to architect and build software from the ground up and drive the engineering culture of the team.

Basic Qualifications
